I do believe dogs can sense when something feels off. Maybe they do not know a person’s full character, but they pick up on energy, body language, tone, and tension in ways we often ignore. When a dog who is normally calm becomes uneasy around someone, I think that instinct is worth paying attention to instead of brushing it off.
Dogs may not judge the way humans do, but they absolutely notice things we miss. Their loyalty, awareness, and protective nature make them powerful companions, especially in moments when something just does not feel right. Sometimes the dog is not overreacting – sometimes the dog is warning you.
